Dr. Rebekah Davis and Dr. Charles Christophel began their story when they met in Veterinary School in 2008. Since the beginning, they have shared a love for animals and have felt an emotional connection to them.
Both dreamed of owning their own Veterinary Hospital and finally have been able to make that dream a reality. Gaining a combined experience of 25 years, they offer a vast knowledge of small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
Dr. Davis and Dr. Christophel developed Foothills Veterinary Hospital as a place to provide exceptional care. They believe Veterinary Medicine should be built on trust, communication, compassion, and education. Their strong love for animals has led them on a lifelong journey of being able to care for our furry family members.

Dr. Rebekah Davis was born and raised in beautiful Boise, Idaho. After earning two bachelor degrees at Boise State University, she went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she met her husband, Dr. Charles Christophel. She completed her clinical year at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 where she took additional small animal medicine rotations.
After graduation, she couldn’t wait to get back home to Idaho. Over the past 13 years she has loved getting to know and care for thousands of dogs and cats in the Treasure Valley. She has a special interest in diagnosing complicated medical cases. Driven by this passion, she has continued to learn the most up to date information to be able to practice the highest quality medicine. Through trust and understanding, she is committed to seeing your pets from puppy and kitten-hood into their golden years.

He continued this trend as the youngest student at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he met his wife, Dr. Rebekah Davis. His clinical year was completed at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine where he took a special interest in small animal surgery. After graduation, he moved all the way across the U.S. to Idaho. He quickly settled in and for the past 12 years has enjoyed meeting the people and helping their furry family members.
